108 | William Clem was a witness on the will of his uncle, Adam Clem. The will,dated 12 July 1841, is also witnessed by Isaac Clem. It is belived that William went on to marry James S. Clem's widow and raise James M. Clem. There are numerous papers of guardianship that document this arrangement, copies of which are in the preparer's possession. James S. married Charlotte Hartman in 1844, then in October of 1846 he died in a farming accident. Charlotte had James M. Clem, 18 Feb 1947. | CLEM, William (I932)
